Christmas Cards Part 4

Green sponging around the edge of the card base.
The snowflake embossing folder layer was cut to
4 x 5.25 inches and the edges were sponged with green.
I used a Spellbinders ornament die in three different sizes.
They are raised over the card using the flat portions of
paper egg cartons to create the 3-d look.
The oval has been cut out of the center of the largest
ornament.  I used the ovals to cut the very narrow
dark green oval the frames the word.
The word has been embossed with fine line gold.

I love the design, but will not be making very many of them.
The design is very intricate and time consuming.
As I have orders for seven dozen Christmas cards
they are going to have to be a little easier to produce.

  1. Hi Shelly
I absolutely love your cards and love the fact that Jesus is your life. I also find it very interesting that you share your life. Do you and your husband raise animals or crops or what? Horses? Your little mama dog is cute. What kind is she? I live in Peoria, Il. I moved here last year from Michigan. I am now near a sister and brother. I am 71 and love making cards and scrap booking.
I, too, love the Lord and am learning to put him first in my life. My sister who hasn't gone to church in years and years is going with me now. Happy about that. I have always loved your cards and really enjoy getting ideas from them. Keep on sharing, sister. Thank you.
