Noel Tile

This is such a fun card. It was one of those ideas that floated around in my head for a few weeks before I had time to complete it.

The Sizzix snowflake embossing folder makes a lovely background as a base for the whole design. Across the bottom is a pine forest punched border from EK Success. The dark green is "shadowed" by a second punched border in gold gift wrap.

Now for the Noel Tile portion. The letters are from a Sizzix's Trixie alphabet. They have been mounted on green and then red layers of card stock.

The finished letter tiles were carefully placed evenly on gold gift wrap. The gold was then trimmed to an even border using a deckle scissors.

Black and Cream Valentinees

The initial inspiration was the ivory embossing powder on white card stock. The hearts were cut with Spellbinders Nestabililties hearts. Thge scalloped hearts are cream card stock, while the inner heart is white card stock.

Paper is DCWV's La Creme stack and the gold paper is gift wrap.

The tags are from Spellbinders first fancy tags set.

The stamp is unknown.

Ivory On White

The above photo is a close up of the embossing.
The ivory embossing powder on white card stock
is so very elegant. It's a little hard to see in the
full photos of the cards, so here is a real close look.

All the die cuts are from Spellbinders.
Note on the cream fill-in on the little
flourishes from the Lattice Pendant.
It really makes a huge difference in the whole look.

The striped paper is from DCWV La Creme stack,
the brushed gold is gift wrap.
The stamps are unknown.
