Romans 8:28

This is such a phenomenal scripture. It is such a reminder to us to look past the present and into God's purposes rather than our self centered little wants.
The paper is from the DCWV LaCreme stack. Spellbinders Pendant and Label dies were used. The scripture stamp is from Our Daily Bread Designs.
The scripture has been stamped with VersaMark and embossed with fineline black powder. It was cut out in a square and the corners were cut with a CM corner rounder. Then the edges were sponged with Ranger's Jet Black Archival ink.
See that little dotted border on the black pendant die cut on the left....that was cut out of the striped multi papered paper from the LaCreme stack.

Friendly Plastic

"This can NOT be Friendly Plastic, it just can't." is running through you minds right now. Well it is the same old Friendly Plastic that we knew, loved and played with back in the 70's.

Leave to some very didicated and out of the box artists to come up with some terrific new techniques for a forgotten product. The pendants in the first picture are a technique created and taught to me by Jana Ewy of Las Vegas.

This stuff is so much fun to play with and this new look is hot, hot, hot. Some of the pendants on the left don't have their bails attached yet, but will have soon.
To the left is the Ooze Technique perfected by Liz Welsh of England.
Now Gabriele in Germany can truly see what I was chatting about yesterday.

Strength I Need

This wonderful scripture stamp is from
Our Daily Bread Designs. I would love to have one of every single one of their stamps. The phrases and images are great and the quality of the deeply etched rubber is perfect.
The die cuts are by Spellbinders. From their Label and Borderabilities lines.
The phrase was stamped on cream card stock. A white gel pen was used to highlight some of the bold letter.
The card base is a duplex paper of black and beige. The advantage of this paper is that I don't need an insert of light paper insert or a light gel pen to write my greeting inside. This is especially important when you give your cards as a gift. Most people that I gift with a card set don't have gel pens and won't buy one either.
